Anastasia Brovkina (b.2004) is a graphic designer and visual communicator. She is currently a third year Communication Design student, pursuing a Bachelor of Design at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, BC. With text, typography, montage and graphic languages as visual methods, she uses design to convey her personal worldview and her contemplations on complex social phenomena and cultural idiosyncrasies.
Drenched with thorough self-expression, Anastasia’s work is allegorical; consistently exuding brilliance with cryptic allure, while continually transcending the boundaries of conventional forms of expression. Her deliberate juxtapositions of images and text fragments reveal a poetry that moves beyond pure aestheticism into social commentary, becoming a weapon for conveying potent messages that resonate.
